Let me rant about games for a bit and their micro transactions.
So most of you have probably played a free to play game that was fun but as you played on it got harder longer and you just wanted to buy stuff, with real currency, to speed it up. I’ve never done this I felt it would be a complete waste of money if I did, but now games you’re buy with money are doing just that.
What micro transactions will do is turn the game you payed for into one of those free to play games where you can still do everything, you can still win, you can still get everything, but it’ll take so long that you’ll end up hating the game and not only that it will ruin the game.It just won’t be as good as it can be.
These micro transaction will remove all the fun from playing a game and completing it, because now to have an enjoyable experience you’ll need to buy not only the game but these micro transaction too. That’s just bull shit, when you buy something you should expect a completed product. Not with bits that’ll take hours to complete.
As well as the economy will never and I say NEVER be fixed, just look at the steam market, you have the very cheap common items and then the incredibly rare items that sell for hundreds and if valve with experience has this problem then Sony and Microsoft will not doubt have bigger problems.
Now maybe I’m being extreme but this should be a major concern. I’ve already stated why and if all that happens well you better have some deep wallets or else any game you but will be dreadful to play.
In conclusion I hope you can see why micro transactions will turn games you buy into free to play type games or maybe a better tern is pay to have fun games.
